Meet Our Pastor The Rev. dR. Earl B. Robinson Jr. is a native of Varnado, LA and was educated in the Washington Parish School System. Rev. Robinson enlisted in the United States Navy, serving active duty for three years. He later began studies at Concordia University Wisconsin where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration. He also attended Payne Theological Seminary in Wilberforce, Ohio where he earned a Master of Divinity degree. He is also the proud member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. On October 21, 2012, Rev. Robinson was ordained an Itinerant Elder in the African Methodist Episcopal Church. He has served as pastor of the Belview AME Church in Franklinton, LA for two years, Doughty Chapel AME Church in Covington, LA for one year, and Greater Salter Chapel AME Church in Bogalusa, LA for three years. In March of 2014, during the Eighth Episcopal District Mid-year convocation, Rev. Robinson was appointed Dean of Christian Education which comprises the states of Louisiana and Mississippi. He also serves on the Episcopal District Board of Examiners.
Rev. Robinson answered his calling and began his training at Mt. Olive AME Church under the leadership of Rev. Cedell Raggs (retired). Rev. Robinson is a dynamic preacher with a vast knowledge of the word of God. He has a deep seeded love for the church and feels called to help shepherd God's people during these trying times.
Rev. Earl and his lovely wife Myoshia Mingo-Robinson have two children, Eral Mekhi Robinson and Zoe Alana Robinson.
